Everywhere you look these days people are talking about which diet they’re on, what their food allergies are, what new restaurants they’ve discovered, and who are their favorite celebrity chefs (Nigella Lawson gets my vote). The one common element here is FOOD!
Whatever you choose to include and exclude from your diet, you still have to eat. Whether you eat out, order in, whip up a macrobiotic shake in the blender, or throw a slab of beef on the grill, at the end of the day, everyone eats. (Well okay, not everyone, but it is not my intent for this to become a “pro ana” site.) This site is dedicated to the culinary arts and sciences that make cooking and eating possible. I’ve tried to cover everything to make the urban gourmet experience more accessible, from cooking schools and urban markets, to recipe pages and seasonal produce guides.
Bon appetit!
